Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
CourtMind ("we", "us") operates the AI tennis analysis service at courtmind.ai. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. If you have questions, contact us at

2. Data We Collect
Account data: name and email address from Google Sign-In, stored to manage your account and usage limits.
Video frames: when you upload a video, we extract still frames (JPEG images). These frames are transmitted to Anthropic's AI API for analysis and are not permanently stored by us. They are discarded immediately after your report is generated. We never store your original video file.
Analysis reports: the text content of your reports is stored so you can access them from your dashboard. Reports contain no video or image data — only the written analysis.
Usage data: number of analyses used per month (for plan limits), timestamps, and basic error logs.
Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID — we never see or store your card number.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the Service
- To generate AI stroke analysis reports
- To enforce monthly analysis limits per plan
- To send transactional emails (report ready, payment receipt)
- To investigate technical errors and abuse
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not use your video frames to train AI models.
4. Third-Party Services
Anthropic (AI processing): extracted frames are sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their privacy policy. Frames are sent over encrypted HTTPS. We do not send identifying information alongside frames.
Google (authentication): we use Google Sign-In. Google's privacy policy applies to that interaction.
Stripe (payments): all payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not process or store payment card data.
Vercel (hosting): our application is hosted on Vercel infrastructure.
5. Video and Image Data — Important
We do not permanently store your video or extracted frames. The process is: you upload → we extract frames in your browser → frames go directly to Anthropic's AI → report is returned → frames are discarded. The video file never leaves your device.
You should only upload videos in which you have the right to share the footage. If other people appear in your video, you are responsible for having their permission.
6. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Analysis reports are retained for 12 months from creation, then deleted. You may request deletion of all your data at any time (see Section 8).
7. Data Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Account data is stored in encrypted databases. We apply access controls limiting which team members can access user data. However, no system is perfectly secure — if we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of data we hold about you
- Correction — correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Portability — receive your report data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to specific uses of your data

9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately for deletion.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
